In Moscow, law enforcement officers halted a "Gazelle" vehicle containing gold worth over 18.5 million rubles. The car was stopped near a house on Simonovsky Val Street. Inside were two men, aged 48 and 36, who voluntarily surrendered a bag containing makeshift gold bars. The value of the chemically pure gold used in the bars exceeded 18.5 million rubles.
The case involves the illegal storage, transportation, or sending of large amounts of precious metals by an organized criminal group. The two men have been detained for further investigation.
