The BRICS+ Fashion Summit, organized by the Fashion Fund with support from the Moscow Government, is set to take place from October 3rd to 5th at the Moscow Concert Hall "Zaryadye". The event has already confirmed participation from representatives of over 100 countries, which is one and a half times more than the previous year, according to Deputy Mayor Natalya Sergunina.
The program will consist of a business section, an exhibition called "Heritage," and an intensive training course for both aspiring and experienced designers, businessmen, and marketers. Sergunina emphasized that this year, delegations from 45 countries, including Mongolia, Congo, El Salvador, Laos, and Qatar, will attend the summit for the first time. The forum will be attended by heads of fashion associations, leaders of major companies, and leading industry experts.
The entire business program will be devoted to current topics such as international collaboration, support for local brands, technology, and investment. The international exhibition, "Heritage," will showcase the influence of the cultural heritage of the BRICS countries, Asian, African, and Latin American states on modern clothing design. More than 40 international participants will present their accessories and costumes, accompanied by videos illustrating the work of craftsmen and the process of creating collections.
Almost 560 applications have been received for the intensive training course, but only 100 will be selected by an expert council. The course will allow aspiring and experienced professionals to expand their network and provide opportunities for development and professional advancement. At the end of the course, all participants will receive corresponding certificates.
The program for the BRICS+ Fashion Summit has been published on the official website, where online broadcasts will also be available. Admission to all events is free with prior registration.
