The Eurasia International Film Festival has opened in Moscow, aiming to rediscover the identity and passion of the film industry.

The Eurasia International Film Festival, held in Moscow, has officially begun, with the goal of rediscovering the essence of the film industry. According to its president, Tigran Keosayan, the festival aims to answer the question of "who we are and what we are". He emphasized the rich contributions that the Soviet Union made to the world of cinema, and how its absence left the various republics searching in different directions.

Keosayan stated, "This festival is undoubtedly a pilgrimage. I believe it has only one goal: to rediscover who we are and what moves us. As Vladimir Lenin once said, cinema, alongside the circus, is the most important of all arts." He highlighted the significance of cinema in uncovering the identity and concerns of society.

The festival will be attended by more than 250 industry professionals from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and other countries, according to the president.

The competition program of the festival features over 50 full-length, short, and documentary films.
