Moscow's innovative eco center "Yauza" celebrates its second anniversary with over 40 thousand visitors in two years.

The Moscow Eco Center "Yauza" has welcomed approximately 40 thousand guests in the two years since its establishment. During this time, the center has hosted over three thousand thematic excursions and around 900 workshops, attracting a total of about 40 thousand visitors.

The eco center offers thematic multimedia tours, educational programs, the Geographic and Arctic Dictations, as well as an ecological conference for schoolchildren as part of the 25th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Current Issues in Ecology and Nature Management" at the Patrice Lumumba University of Peoples' Friendship and other activities, according to the website.

In addition, the center organized the ecological enlightenment festival "Holidays in the Arctic" in collaboration with the International Environmental Fund "Clean Seas".

As part of the "Grow Your Own Cedar" eco-action in 2023, participants planted over six thousand Siberian cedar seedlings and collected and recycled more than 25 tons of paper waste.

The "Yauza" eco center also houses the Youth Club of the Russian Geographical Society (RGS), where members are taught to use all types of maps.
