Moscow residents will be able to learn about the upcoming parliamentary elections in September through the mayor's portal.

The mayor's portal mos.ru has launched a new section dedicated to the upcoming elections for the Moscow City Duma, which will take place from September 6 to 8. The section aims to provide residents with information on how to participate in electronic voting, the technologies ensuring anonymity and transparency, and the security of voter voices.

The voting can be done online through the portal or at designated polling stations. Residents above 18 years old and with permanent registration in Moscow can participate, without the need for prior registration. A special service in the personal cabinet of the portal will help individuals verify the available voting methods. In addition, special terminals will be installed at polling stations to distribute electronic ballots, avoiding queues and congestion.

The website mos.ru provides detailed information on electronic voting in the capital, as well as other specifics of the September elections. Residents can also access relevant information on a dedicated page by the Moscow City Elections Commission.

Earlier, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin expressed his support for the candidate team of "United Russia" for the Moscow City Duma elections in 2024.

This initiative by the mayor's portal aims to ensure transparency and accessibility in the upcoming elections, encouraging residents to actively participate in the democratic process and exercise their right to vote.
