According to Vladimir Kaidansky, the announcement that the Crimean squads were among the top three out of 12,500 student communities in Russia brought both a sense of pride and the realization that all their hard work was worthwhile. They were competing with teams that continued to operate even in turbulent times, such as the 90s when everything was falling apart. To beat these regions was a great accomplishment.
The pedagogical student squads and work in children's health camps are among the key areas of work for the Crimean student squads. For nine years, the Crimean branch has been working with children's health camps, including the All-Russian children's centers "Artek" and "Scarlet Sails," which won the award for the "Best Employer in the Field of Children's Recreation."
The victory of "Scarlet Sails" is closely tied to the work of the Crimean student squads, according to the head of the branch. He further emphasized that it is gratifying to see the recognition, especially from the perspective of the work of the Crimean students. The "Condor" student squad represented the "Scarlet Sails" at the "Russia" exhibition and showcased all the developments of the center at the national level.
The work in the field of education, services, and other areas not only attracts Crimean youth but also young people from historical regions of Russia. With the help of the Crimean Regional Branch, student squads were created in the Zaporizhzhia region, and Crimeans led the recruitment, training, and employment of students from the region. Many young people find opportunities in Crimea, Rostov Oblast, Krasnodar Krai, and their own home regions.
In turn, Crimean employers have been recognized with the National "TrudKrut" Award for providing the best working conditions for student squads. According to Sergey Brodovsky, the director of the Center for Employment of the Population of the Republic of Crimea, there are currently around 8,000 job openings for those without work experience, who want to start building their careers in Crimea. The employers are willing to help newcomers gain work experience and provide mentors to help them integrate into the teams quickly.
