In a conversation with RT, Roman Vilfand, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, shared the weather forecast for the capital city for the upcoming weekend. According to him, Saturday and Sunday will be mostly dry with no significant precipitation. However, he mentioned that there might be a brief shower on Sunday in some areas. Overall, the weather will be sunny with pleasant temperatures between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius, which is slightly above the average. Vilfand also mentioned that the water temperature in the Moscow River is currently around 20-22 degrees Celsius and even higher in areas with low flow, reaching 22-23 degrees Celsius.
Vilfand emphasized that these conditions provide a perfect opportunity for outdoor activities and relaxation. During these days, the nighttime temperatures will stay around 15 degrees Celsius. However, he warned that rain is expected on Monday, Tuesday, and possibly Wednesday, though the intensity of the precipitation will not be as high as it was during the previous week when Moscow experienced heavy rainfall exceeding the monthly norms.
Previously, Yuri Varakin, the head of the Situational Center of Roshydromet, stated that Dagestan, North Ossetia, and Kabardino-Balkaria could expect heavy downpours on June 14th and 15th. However, this particular forecast was not related to the weather in Moscow.
