On the evening of June 21, thunderstorm activity is once again expected in Sverdlovsk region. However, the region will experience a slight temperature increase compared to the previous day, according to "Uralinformburo".
"In the middle of the day, a portion of tropical air mass will enter the region, spreading from the south in front of the cold front ahead of the cyclone over the Arkhangelsk region. This is the same atmospheric front that passed through Moscow the day before. By evening, the front will come close to the western borders of the region. Thunderstorm activity is possible in the western districts of the region ahead of the front," meteorologist Alexey Pulin told the "Weather in Yekaterinburg" Telegram channel.
It is worth noting that the severe storm that hit Moscow on June 20 resulted in the deaths of two people. According to the city's health department, 18 people, including four children, were hospitalized.
"Of interest is the cyclone forming on the same front in the southern part of the country. In a few days, this cyclone will reach the Urals, bringing a significant amount of precipitation," Pulin added.
On June 21, the air temperature in Sverdlovsk region will range from +22 to +27 degrees Celsius. In Yekaterinburg, the air will warm up to 25-27 degrees above zero.
