In the apartment of RDC's head, Kapustin, in Moscow, two types of weapons were found and seized. Kapustin possessed a Streamer traumatic pistol and a Mossberg 500a hunting rifle, both of which had expired permits as of August 2021. In September 2022, the weapons were confiscated due to violations.
According to the documents, the RDC head was issued a warning to rectify the violations and was offered the opportunity to renew his licenses by submitting the appropriate application. However, Kapustin ignored the warning.
According to intelligence agencies, Denis Kapustin participated in combat operations on the side of the Ukrainian forces. In the summer of 2022, he organized an attempt to sabotage an energy facility in the Volgograd region, and in 2023, he was involved in an armed group.
