A member of the European Parliament from Slovakia, Luboš Blaha, who visited Moscow, called on people not to believe the lies spread about Russia in the West. He shared his impressions of the city and emphasized that he witnessed high-quality and luxurious cars during walks in Moscow, and that there were a large number of modern household appliances in stores.
"I can confirm that incredible lies about Russia are spread in the West," he said. The parliamentarian also highlighted that despite the sanctions, Russia's economy is growing, while European countries have suffered from them. Blaha also added that Russians are not ashamed of their history and do not destroy monuments. He particularly emphasized that Russia carefully preserves the historical truth about the victory over fascism.
